When traveling the distance, it’s important to ensure your vehicle is in the best shape possible,  that’s where tire balancing comes in. ABC’s trademark balancing beads are glass tempered beads that balance at the center of your tire.

Unlike regular beads, ABC’s balancing beads use memory technology to keep them stabilized and in place, even when your vehicle has stopped. They continuously balance your tires as you drive. Our beads balance the complete axle in, the tire, the wheel, and all the moving components of the wheel.

Balancing beads offer a variety of benefits such as the following:

  • Extended tire life
  • Reducing vibration-related repairs
  • Reduced fuel consumption
  • Reduced maintenance costs

How to Balance Tires With Beads? The Injection Method

Though there are many different methods of balancing tires, ABC offers a convenient and fast method of application by installing balancing beads through the valve stem. The injection method can take as little as five minutes per tire as they are installed through the valve stem. Listed is a step-by-step breakdown of what the injection method looks like.

Step 1: To take the pressure off the tires, place a floor jack underneath the front axle when doing steers.

Step 2: Release the tire’s air by removing the valve core from the valve stem.

Step 3: Fill the injection pump reservoir with ABC balancing beads

Step 4: Attach the chuck to the valve stem, making sure that the release valve is in the off position. Then, proceed to attach your air line.

Step 5: Holding the injection tool in a vertical position, open the air release valve, from three to six o’clock, and slowly turn the injection tool upwards toward you.

The injection method is most definitely the convenient option, on the other hand, the traditional balancing procedure involves removing all wheel nuts and can take up to twenty five minutes per wheel, or a total of one hour.
